Rebranding The DJJP Quality Painters Website

One of my current projects is to help my mate Darren Pearce update his website for DJJP Quality Painters at https://djjp.com.au/.

The site was never built very well in the first place, and it wasn't properly maintained. It went offline earlier in 2025, and no one noticed for more than a week. (Not even the bloke responsible for the website and the hundreds of others that also crashed.) When the website was moved to a new hosting provider, heaps of stuff broke.

Well, we just pushed a new version live tonight! It's a small step towards our goal, with approximately ten legacy pages still in place and some functionality still broken, but it's heading in the right direction.

The site has been rebranded, complete with a new logo, thanks to my brother, Kym Borrett.

I'm working on better localisation to target the forty localities that make up the Mornington Peninsula. There's still a lot to do on that front.

I still need to implement the basic SEO meta tags, set up the sitemap, and complete several other backend tasks. But tonight I'll sleep well, content with the progress made so far.
