I'm late to the Air Fryer party. It's something I'd been thinking about getting for a while, but found all of the choices somewhat confusing. Then CHOICE recently published a review of the best air fryers to buy in Australia. The relatively inexpensive (A$99) Braun MultiFry 3 Digital Airfryer HF3030 was ranked #2 on the recommendations list and seemed suitable for my needs, so I thought I'd give it a try.
I've found it compact and convenient, and the 4.3 litre capacity is suitable for me. I'm enjoying the crisp results, and it's easy to clean. The drawer is dishwasher-safe, but I haven't tried it yet.
I was surprised that it didn't come with detailed instructions and recipes, but recipes are easy to find on the web and YouTube.
As someone who has only cooked in a microwave and a Weber BabyQ BBQ for the last 10 years, I'm enjoying the additional options the air fryer offers.
